Über mich:
Mein Name ist Imke Stüker.
Ich habe mir eine ganz eigene Art zu malen erobert, direkt mit meinen Händen auf Leinwand.
Ich interessiere mich besonders für das, was Leben und Menschsein alles so ausmacht.
In den letzten 25 Jahren hatte ich die Gelegenheit, mit vielen Menschen zu diesen Themen als Ärztin und Osteopathin in Kontakt zu kommen.
Gerade in heutigen Zeiten, wo aus meiner Sicht medial und gesellschaftlich viele bedrohliche Szenarien gepflegt werden, finde ich ein daneben stellen von anderen Aspekten sehr wichtig: Freude Hoffnung, Kreativität, respektvollen Umgang üben, (gerade bei Andersartigkeit), Ermutigung, Spielfreude, konstruktives Miteinander, ausprobieren dürfen etc.
Erst in einer Auffächerung der eher herausfordernden und der leichter fallenden Seiten von uns Menschen wird für mich das Bild vollständig.
Ich unterstütze gerne für mich Sinn stiftende Projekte. Ein großer Teil meiner Einnahmen fließt deshalb dorthin. Derzeit ist das die wellfair.ngo Stiftung, die ein für mich stimmiges Konzept für Brunnenbau und elementare Grundversorgung in Afrika hat.

My name is Imke Stüker.
I have conquered my very own way of painting, directly with my hands on canvas.
I am particularly interested in what life and being human is all about.
Over the last 25 years, I have had the opportunity to come into contact with many people on these topics as a doctor and osteopath.
Especially in today's times, where I believe that many threatening scenarios are being cultivated in the media and in society, I find it very important to place other aspects alongside them: joy, hope, creativity, practicing respectful interaction (especially in the case of differences), encouragement, playfulness, constructive cooperation, being allowed to try things out, etc.
For me, the picture is only complete when the more challenging and easier aspects of us humans are fanned out.
I like to support projects that create meaning for me. That's why a large part of my income goes to them. At the moment, this is the wellfair.ngo foundation, which has a concept for well construction and elementary basic care in Africa that I find coherent.
